I was always told that the forests held secrets, ancient ones, forgotten by time, but I never believed the stories until that fateful night. The wind howled through the trees, sending chills down my spine as I walked deeper into the heart of the woods. That’s when I saw him. Towering above the forest floor, armoured in steel forged in fire, stood the bear, no mere creature, but a warrior, his roar shaking the very air around me. He wasn’t just guarding the forest. he was its protector. And I had just crossed his path.

The complication

  1. As I stood frozen in fear, the bear let out a low growl, warning me that intruders were not welcome in his domain.
  2. Suddenly, a rustling noise came from the bushes behind me, and I realised I was not alone in the forest.
  3. Just when I thought I could escape, the ground beneath my feet began to tremble, revealing an ancient trap set long ago.
