I had just finished my morning stretch when I noticed something strange—a large shadow hanging over me. Squinting against the desert sun, I saw a group of cactus plants waving in the wind… or were they? A slow chuckle escaped my throat. No, it wasn’t the cactus—it was a group of bandits, sneaking up behind me in the desert heat. As I straightened my cowboy hat, I gave them a slow, menacing smile. The desert had never seen a chameleon quite like me. Time for a showdown.
The complication
- The bandits are sneaky and much quicker than I thought, surrounding me with their wagons and trying to get me to lower my guard.
- The sun is so hot, it’s making it harder to blend into my surroundings. Will I be able to stay out of sight?
- My trusty lasso seems to be stuck on something—it could be my only way out, but I’m going to need some quick thinking to free it before the bandits close in!
