It was a peaceful evening by the sea. The sun was setting, painting the sky with shades of orange and pink as the waves gently rolled onto the shore. I had been walking along the beach, taking in the calm scenery, when something unusual caught my eye. Half-buried in the sand was a glass bottle, its cork still intact, and inside, I could just make out the faint outline of something rolled up. My heart skipped a beat as I knelt down to pull the bottle from the sand. What could it be? The bottle looked ancient, and the map inside seemed like it had traveled from somewhere far away.

The complication

  1. As you unroll the map, you realize it's not just any map—it's a treasure map, but the markings are written in a language you don’t recognize.
  2. The moment you touch the map, the sky above you begins to change. Dark clouds swirl and lightning strikes in the distance, as if the bottle's arrival has triggered something.
  3. Suddenly, a figure appears on the horizon, moving toward you with purpose. They seem to know about the map and are determined to take it from you.
